Representing 8% of all e-commerce in Latin America, Colombia is the third biggest market in the region.

However, the country is still a potential grower, being a place full of opportunities for international merchants.

But how do Colombians shop online?

Even though bank penetration is high in the country, the use of credit cards is still very low. With that in mind, it’s essential to have local alternative payment methods to reach a big part of the country’s population.
